What a great conversation with Substack author, Felice, of Felice J. Killer! Afterward, I was bummed that I forgot to bring up Felice’s neighbor, Wayne Yang. You’ll have to head on over to her site to meet this quirky and wise friend of hers, and I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy yourself while you’re there! Her writing is vulnerable, wise, highly relatable and, as I mention during our conversation, it transports me back to those months following the discovery of my daughter’s transID—but in a way that makes me giggle rather than relive the pain.
Ancient wisdom, enmeshment, hard drugs, suffering, rebellion, cults, permaculture, school, politics, sex, war, eternal souls, tattooed Jewish agnostic liberals…it’s all here, but mostly we talk about finding the courage to trust again.
