The Paradox of Motherhood (take one)

reflection along the way

This shorter episode is not an interview, but rather a presentation that I’m working on for my coaching website (where you can learn more about me, and check out my coaching testimonials and FAQs.) I think I credit all the quotes I share except this one by Marianne Williamson, which I realized I didn’t even finish. In fact, I leave out the best parts! I’ll have to fix that in the next take…

A certain desperation is usually necessary before we're ready for God... Until your knees finally hit the floor, you're just playing at life, and on some level you're scared because you know you're just playing. The moment of surrender is not when life is over. It's when it begins.

As I say in the recording, Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful for you and hope you’re finding the supports you need to move through this hard, hard thing. Hang in there, Mama!

Practitioners of Stoicism might say, "the obstacle is the way." These are my conversations and reflections--along the way.
