Say more please! I'm sure she'd love to know what you enjoyed most. :) I'll make sure she sees your comments. Thanks for taking the time to share them.
I loved listening to you two as well! My 16-yr old had a similar 13-yr old experience. Still short hair, still boy comfy clothes, no longer goes by last name but a letter. Things got more stressful when high school hit, but now a junior she found a way to fully embrace the academic classes by recovering after school (sadly gave up extracurriculars). I still pray for friends, the right kind of friends. A recent fall diagnosis of Aspergers helps explain to her the lack of "people-ing" skills. I hope she soon sees it also explains her non-conforming appearance AND THAT IT IS OK. Our culture has certainly regressed ... I don't feel like a girl so let me adopt all the stereotypes of a boy. I can't wait to see how Jesus steps into this narrative for her. Bless you both!
I really loved listening to Sara. I wish she had her own podcast!
