Finally!
Haha, I’ve been torturing myself about this interview since it was recorded. It’s been about a month and half since the conversation took place, and my rumination mechanism has been on overdrive! (Yes, my daughter gets her rumination talents from her mother.) It’s certainly been a test of patience and trust, and to be perfectly honest, I kinda failed. I actually attempted to delay or even prevent its publication because I’d convinced myself that I’d botched it. (Having not heard it myself and not knowing when it would publish. I didn’t know until I checked this morning, as I’ve done every Friday morning for the past number of weeks…)
I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and am so grateful to Sasha and Stella for their amazing facilitation of this conversation. I do mention the new content piece at The StoicMom Project as well as the new online community. The first episode of helpful concepts along the way has been published and can be accessed by paid subscribers on either the monthly or annual plan. I’ve committed to creating one of these per month for the foreseeable future. The online community is currently accessed through the Founding Member tier who get everything paid subscribers get plus the community and all its benefits. This community is in its pilot phase, and I see this evolving quickly. It is an “intentional community” which means current members will have input into how it iterates.
Thank you for being here in whatever capacity works best for you! The positive feedback and seeing this message impact other parents’ lives for the better has been so incredibly rewarding, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your support. Just…thank you.
Love,
StoicMom
Podcast brought me here. I’ve been working via this same philosophy in tandem in my own psychotherapy practice wondering where can I send these isolated parents for healthy peer support. So impressed with you all that I’m supporting you via the founders level sponsorship. And I’m very picky about where I invest my activism. Keep up the good work!
Love this podcast! Can’t wait to listen on my way home from work.
