How did gender-affirming care reach its hasty conclusions? Is this really just another hideously twisted tale of end-stage capitalism creating markets for expensive procedures and "experts" to staff the new bureaucracies? What persuaded people steeped in the scientific method to abandon their "senses" in favor of that nebulous entity: the soul? Whatever the cause...it seemed to happen overnight without any societal munching over the consequences.
